My names Teya and here's a little about me and my life! I’m now 30 and living the high life! aha I wish!
Little Letters Studio is solely run by me with the help of my husband and my two little boys (4 and 2!)... To add to the chaos, we've added another little bundle which I'm currently cooking up.... and a puppy by the name of Ralph. If you ever find yourself on my stories and wondering why there is a springer spaniel that pops up... thats Little Letters Ralph and I have no doubt posted about him to shame him for destroying something or another.
LLS is based in Warwickshire, Rugby and I work out of my converted garage which my husband has to kindly transformed into a liveable space. And you bet I live in this little studio!
It all started in 2017 for me when I was on maternity leave with my first born. One Cricut purchase and I was hooked on crafting. I had always dreamed of designing for a living and thankfully after sixth form I got my chance and off I went to study architectural design. It was fun! I worked in multiple architectural practice in between doing my degrees and I well and truly am grateful for all the wonderful experiences and projects I worked on in my time.
There was still always something missing. They say the devil makes work for idle hands and I was certainly kept busy during my first maternity leave. Juggling a newborn then toddler alongside this new budding venture.
And then I got pregnant again. 6 months of work and I was thrown back into the depths of full-time motherhood.... and depression. Two under two and no one to help. LLS was my release and the customers I was beginning to accumulate soon turned into friends and support networks.
As I began to regain my confidence LLS grew its wings alongside me so when one morning at 6am in 2020, I was logging onto the computer for the day, ready for another great day of construction, something clicked and I wrote my resignation then and there! I hadn't even told my husband but that day I came home and LLS became my full-time job!
And the rest is history as they say.
Or is it? I gave up a promising careers a very decent salary and some pretty decent benefits to work all hours of the day.... but am I happy? I sure am!
So thats me in a nutshell. Momma of soon to be three. Dog mum (reluctantly.) Wife. Ex architectural designer and a passion for all things pretty.
